How do you choose your lotto winning numbers? Most Filipinos choose their winning lotto combinations by thinking of their favorite numbers, birthdays and anniversaries or dates of important parts of their lives.
Here are tips and strategies on how to pick your six number combinations with a much higher chances of winning.
Odd-Even Combination
Because there is an even distribution of odd and even numbers in the lotto balls, it is therefore more likely that the winning 6 number combination will have an even distribution of odd and even numbers. Your odd-even combination should be 2-4 (two odds, four evens), 3-3 or 4-2.
Sum of Numbers
The sum of the your number combination should be within the middle range of all possible sums. What is the middle range? Add the first six numbers and the last six numbers of the lotto balls and divide by two. For example, in the Philippine Lotto 6/42 draw, adding the first six numbers and last six numbers will give you 258. Dividing it by two and you will get 129. The sum of your numbers should be close to this number.
Low-High Combination
If you will divide the lotto ball numbers by two, the lower half are the low numbers and the higher half are the high numbers. Like the odd-even combination, your lotto combination should also have a fair number of low and high numbers. Your low-high combination should be 2-4, 3-3 or 4-2.
Consecutive Numbers
Have you seen a winning combination with four or more consecutive numbers? None. Because four or more consecutive numbers have rare chances of winning.
Number Group
The lotto numbers can be divided into groups: single-digit, tens, twenties, and so on. It is rare that the winning lotto result has five numbers which belong to the same group.
Last Digits
Although it can happen, it is unlikely that four numbers in the winning lotto result will have the same last digits.
